RCR Electrical Contractors provides services to support all voltage systems from medium voltage to low voltage power and control installations, troubleshooting and repairs. We offer installation and technical support for process instrument control systems, planning and installation of plant conveying systems, and troubleshooting of motor control applications for industries listed above.
PROJECTS
TASTY BAKING COMPANY
For over 100 years, Tasty Baking has provided a Philadelphia snack staple, Tastykakes. With a move to a larger baking facility, Tasty Baking needed the electrical installation of power and control systems for their new baking batch system. This included installing customer supplied power and control panels, a distribution system between panels and motors, a control system for all instrumentation and system control devices, a communication system throughout the plant interconnection field control systems and a heat trace system.
NAVSEE (Naval Engineering & Development)
We provide ongoing support for Naval ENgineering and the electrical installations required for test site projects in the Philadelphia Navy Yard. This covers all aspects of the electrical industry from power distribution to instrumentation and communications wiring.

ECOVANTA ENERGY
The 58th Street Transfer Station in Philadelphia, PA is part of a national recycling company that focuses on zero waste-to-landfill sustainability.

We provided the electrical installation of a complete plant scrap recovery system including primary 15 KV service to the pad mount transformer, a secondary 1200 Amp distribution system, installation of utility power lights and receptacles, control panels and a complete process control system as well as installation of motor control centers and distribution to motors.
PEPSICO
With the expansion of their can line conveyor systems, we installed motor control centers and devices for 2 conveyors, modified the existing Sentry conveyor system to support 5 additional conveyor sections, modified the existing control panels and provided startup and testing upon completion of the system.
P-106 NAVSSES
Expansion of their Sub-Facility required installation of a communications duct bank between on-site Navy support facilities. We installed all electrical wiring associated with the building expansion and fire pump service along with the associated wiring for the replacement of the existing system.
